What Does It Mean To Be Human Today?

A philosophy series in which authors, artists, philosophers, scientists and entrepreneurs answer the question “What does it mean to be human today?” for the Opinion section of The New York Times. For each of the essays I selected a different photographer whose style lent itself to conceptualize the response. The topics covered ranged from genetics, technology, and to how we process grief.
